The YZ Campus is attended by half of Cruise’s middle School Students, for grade 5 through eighth grade. This campus is home to Cruise’s executive direcor’s office, general management supervision team, coordination desk and center of academic excellence and administrative facilities.

Academic excellence at the YZ campus is promoted through instruction that is both rigorous and highly supportive. The entire program, from the academic curriculum to our multidimensional co curricular activities, designed to support learning and growth at this important mid school age groups. Classes are taught by experienced and highly trained group of teachers who understand changes associated with late childhood and early adolescent intellectual and social developments.

To ensure lesson plans and curricula are fully integrated, and to monitor students’ academic and behavioral progress, strong academic and adminstrative committees have been organized involving campus administrative staff, teachers , students and parents. Many opportunities are available for students to participate in clubs, sports, theatrical arts and music. These activities are specially designed to help students develop their personal talents and skills. There are specialized teachers for sports, music and art activities.

In addition, students are encouraged to uphold their responsibilities as members of the school and the greater community, developing an understanding beyond themselves. Within the school, students play in many leadership roles. Beyond the school, students trained to understand their potential and to realize their impact as global citizens.

The campus is blessed with a wide variety of awards, to mention few of them….
+ In 2017 Yz campus stood 1 st among all private schools of Addis Ababa and awarded a certificate in recognition of the campus effort in delivering quality education.
+ Since 2010 , six students receive International Community School (ICS) Merit Commended Scholar recognition. Three of them have completed their highschool education at ICS and joined Universities in USA for higher education.
+ In 2017, 22 students of eigth graders have been recognized by national merit scholarship award by Kotebe Metropolitan university and joined Menilik I highschool for special education and training. Both ICS and National Merit awards are based on performance in the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test taken at grade 8.
+ A wide variety of awards have been given to our students both in academic and non academic competitions organized at woreda, subcity and city level.
